Protecting Workplace Freedom & Fairness
The United States is built on the principles of freedom and fairness. Government exists to secure those principles for all Americans. Just as the Oversight and Government Reform Committee is dedicated to holding business and government accountable, we are committed to delivering accountability for American workers and families.
Now more than ever, Americans have a right to know that the money government takes from them is well spent. And rank-and-file union workers have a right to know how union leaders spend their dues. $1 in taxes is just as precious as $1 in union dues.
But right now many workers are forced to contribute their hard-earned money to partisan politics they oppose. This is America: no one should be forced to support a special interest agenda they oppose.
Working together, we have the power to create a country free from forced political contributions, for ourselves and our children. To secure that better America:
- We will listen to our workers and give them a voice
- We will ensure government is protecting their rights
- We will present the facts and work towards common-sense solutions that increase freedom for all Americans.
We will listen. And we will hold everyone accountable.
